At Secura, we prioritize the safety of our customers. In partnership with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and Health Canada, we are voluntarily recalling specific date codes of our TXG-DS16 (SAF-53) and SAF-53D (TXG-DT16E) air fryers. This recall includes only TXG-DS16 (SAF-53) with date codes 1903 and 1904, and SAF-53D (TXG-DT16E) with date code 1901.

Identification Guide

The manufacturer’s label, located on the bottom of the air fryer, includes the model number and date code. Please ensure that both numbers match the recalled models and date codes.

We are conducting this recall to keep our customer’s safe and prevent injuries by removing the problem products. Due to certain manufacturing issues, the affected air fryers may present safety risks. This recall is being made as a precautionary measure.
This recall involves Secura air fryers with model number SAF-53D (TXG-DT16E) with date code 1901, and model number SAF-53 (TXG-DS16) with date codes 1903 and 1904. No. Even though your product appears to be safe, we are asking all customers to immediately stop using the Air Fryer with the above-mentioned date code and participate in the recall for an Amazon gift card or free replacement.

No, replacement air fryers are not available. Consumers with recalled models have the option to choose between an Amazon.com gift card in the amount of $45 USD or a replacement at consumer's choice from specific Secura products as listed on Secura's webpage at https://www.thesecura.com/recall/. Product availability is subject to change.

Canadian Customers (Health Canada recall):
No, replacement air fryers are not available. Consumers with recalled models will receive an Amazon.ca gift card in the amount of $60 CAD. No replacement products are available.
